MQM leader accuses PML-N of supporting militants

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi on accused the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) of supporting banned outfits in the country.

Responding to the allegations leveled by PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, Rizvi said that the party had been supporting militant organisations financially in exchange for their services during elections.

Earlier, Sharif had criticised the current government of being a “total failure” and accused the MQM of introducing politics of terrorism in Pakistan and added that it was involved in disturbing peace in Karachi.

Rizvi said that the character of PML-N could easily be judged by the Punjab government’s open support to such groups.

The MQM leader also accused Sharif of promoting state terrorism in Karachi that caused the law and order situation in the city to deteriorate.

He alleged that 15, 000 innocent people had been killed in Karachi on Sharif’s orders, adding that a number of young people in the city were jailed and tortured till they were disabled.
